About The Indigenous Trailblazers Summit

The Indigenous Trailblazers Summit is an unparalleled annual event, meticulously crafted by Indigenous grassroots efforts. This unique experience seamlessly integrates culture, tradition, and ceremonial process into the realm of business, ensuring a harmonious blend of success and celebration. 

Acting as a crucial platform, the summit amplifies the voices, knowledge, and business wisdom of Indigenous leaders, professionals, and the broader business community. It serves as a dedicated space where Indigenous and non-Indigenous allies converge to champion, listen, learn, and showcase the vibrancy of the prairies' business landscape and beyond.

Attendees can immerse themselves in a 92-booth trade show highlighting 46 First Nation, Métis, and Inuit entrepreneurs, consultants, tech professionals, community-owned businesses, artisans, as well as supportive non-Indigenous industry friends. 

Tradeshow

Award Ceremony

Participants of the trade show will be given an opportunity to select one Indigenous Entrepreneur booth, one Indigenous Consultant booth, and one Indigenous Tech booth of their choosing to receive a recognition award. Winners will be announced at the evening gala.

Keynote & Panel Discussion

The summit will feature an interactive panel discussion, encouraging dynamic engagement between Indigenous experts and industry leaders to harmonize Indigenous inclusion as outlined in Call to Action 92. Anonymous audience questions will spark thoughtful dialogue, challenging panelists to share practical insights and solutions.

VIP Mixer 

Invite only, VIP guests will join for food and drinks to get to know each other before the summit starts on May 4, 2026.

Our interactive roundtable discussions adopt a grassroots approach, swiftly transitioning into engaging Q&A sessions after concise introductions. This format fosters lively participation among Indigenous panelists, sharing invaluable insights, expertise, and experiences. Each panel discussion centers on fostering more effective collaboration between industries and Indigenous communities to advance Indigenous inclusion, aligning with Call to Action 92.

Our tradeshow delegates will have the opportunity to nominate one outstanding exhibitor from each of the following categories to receive a special recognition award: 

  • Indigenous Entrepreneur booth 

  • Indigenous Consultant booth 

  • Indigenous Tech booth 

  • 100% Community-owned business booth 

  • Non-Indigenous business ally booth

 
The summit will conclude in a celebration of Indigenous culture and entertainment. During the closing ceremonies, we will announce our award winners and honour our sponsoring friends.
