About The Indigenous Trailblazers Summit

This inaugural event will unite the FNMI business community and
key industry players to advance economic success. With a focus on
reconciliation, the summit aims to foster new connections, enhance existing relationships, and promote collaboration among Indigenous businesses, communities, and our industry allies. Join us on this transformative journey towards a more inclusive and prosperous future.

Award Ceremony & Gala

Gala Dinner highlighting Indigenous culture,entertainment and showcasing our sponsors, partners, allies on our big screen. Participants of the trade show will be given an opportunity to select one Indigenous Entrepreneur booth, one Indigenous Consultant booth, and one Indigenous Tech booth of their choosing to receive a recognition award. Winners will be announced at the evening gala.

Keynote & Panel Discussion

The summit will feature an interactive panel discussion, encouraging dynamic engagement between Indigenous experts and industry leaders to harmonize Indigenous inclusion as outlined in Call to Action 92. Anonymous audience questions will spark thoughtful dialogue, challenging panelists to share practical insights and solutions.

Cultural Celebrations

Throughout the summit will be several showcases of local Indigenous traditional celebrations.

Background of the Indigenous Trailblazers Summit:

In an effort towards economic reconciliation and bring to fruition the TRC, Call to Action 92. RPA and the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation took it upon themselves to establish a gathering held in May of 2024 entitled the “Spotlight Gala”.

This event witnessed the coming together of 4 Nation owned business entities and 23 Nation entrepreneurs to be showcased and honoured by the community and industry at the River Cree Resort & Casino. Seeing the impact, the growth continues with the launch of the Indigenous Trailblazers Summit.
